PHOTOGRAVURE ETCHINGS

Using ultaviolet light biting an etch into sensitive polymer plates. The images are created from manipulated acetate photo positives, x-ray film or images drawn on translucent film. Once created,  the plates are individually inked and printed in a traditional hand-press. The delicate prints often have a subtle, other-worldly quality.
